JYGA offers food and beverage packaging machinery for cartoning, case packing, palletising and automated handling projects. Meat loading and handling machines
JYGA has developed three solutions for handling and loading meat products into existing cartoners, thermoformers and flow pack machines. Where these machines are still loaded manually, JYGA can automate the loading operation.
These compact, high-performance cells integrate into existing packaging lines without unnecessarily increasing the footprint. JYGA provides robotic loading solutions for flow pack machines, thermoformers and cartoners.
Meat cartoning machines
For meat products such as minced steaks and breaded stuffed poultry products packed in pouches, JYGA offers top-load cartoners and side-load cartoners depending on the required loading direction.
JYGA cartoners form the carton, load the product and close the carton. High throughput can be achieved while protecting the product through gripping solutions designed specifically for its format, size and weight.

Wrap-around case packing machines for meat products
For more than 30 years, JYGA has supported food manufacturers with its expertise in wrap-around case packing. JYGA meat and poultry case packers form cases from flat cardboard blanks, load the products, then close and discharge the filled cases.
JYGA wrap-around case packers for meat products can handle several case and product formats. Articulated robots provide high-throughput loading, while the machines remain flexible, scalable and ergonomic. Format changeovers are managed directly from the machine HMI.

JYGA also designs case packing cells for more specific case styles, including automatic-bottom cases and reinforced cases, as well as top-load case packing cells for RSC cases.
Machines for palletising meat cases
For palletising cases of meat and poultry products, JYGA has developed versatile robotic palletising cells:

JYGA robotic palletisers use end-of-arm tools designed by the JYGA team for the container being palletised. The systems are flexible and can handle pallet pick-up and placement as well as layer pads.
JYGA supports customers in creating optimised pallet patterns. JY’TOOL pallet pattern software can be integrated into each palletiser HMI, giving operators the autonomy to modify or create new patterns and launch production. JYGA palletisers have a compact footprint and ergonomic design.
Efficient palletising in the meat and poultry industry: a JYGA automatic multi-line palletiser
In an increasingly competitive food market, JYGA deployed an advanced palletising solution for a major French meat producer. The project demonstrates how automated packaging equipment can improve production processes in meat and poultry operations.
The manufacturer wanted to increase production capacity and selected JYGA for a complete packaging solution covering loading, packaging, case packing and palletising.
JYGA recommended an automatic multi-line palletiser. The system handles a single format of closed wrap-around cases, orienting them correctly and stacking them efficiently on pallets.
After case packing, cases accumulate on a conveyor and are orientated before row preparation. At the same time, the JYGA robot handles empty pallets and positions them for palletising. Prepared rows of cases are then palletised automatically. Full pallets are finally transferred for final wrapping and safe collection before dispatch.
This application demonstrates JYGA expertise in palletising solutions tailored to meat and poultry requirements. The customer increased production efficiency and optimised its end-of-line packaging process.
