Pharmaceutical packaging lines adapted to your production constraints

JYGA designs pharmaceutical packaging solutions for cartoning, case packing, palletising and robotic loading. Our equipment can be integrated into new projects or existing lines, with attention to batch changeovers, cleanability, workstation ergonomics and production monitoring.

Depending on the products, formats and organisation of your production area, we develop either a pharmaceutical packaging machine or a complete line capable of managing end-of-line flows, interfaces between equipment and site operating constraints. The aim is to deliver a solution aligned with your throughput, operator-access requirements and production environment.

Case Packing for Serum Bags

For a company specialising in industrial microbiology, JYGA installed a wrap-around case packer for closed cases dedicated to ready-to-use serum pouches. The pouches, manually fed at around 8 pouches/min, are taken up on a conveyor, with every other pouch turned over, and then placed into cases by a 6-axis robot fitted with a roller gripper. Cardboard blanks are destacked and formed into a U shape before the flaps are folded and glued closed. At the outfeed, full cases can optionally be weighed, are labelled and then routed towards palletizing, providing a compact, ergonomic and secure solution.

Our machine solutions

Machines designed for pharmaceutical end-of-line operations

JYGA offers several types of pharmaceutical packaging machinery to automate end-of-line operations, including  case packing, palletising, robotic loading and collaborative palletising. Each machine is defined according to the products to be handled, formats, batch changeovers, throughput and site layout constraints.

Our machines are designed to fit into the organisation of production sites, with particular attention to workstation access, ease of use and interfaces between equipment. Depending on the project, JYGA can automate a specific station or several successive end-of-line operations.

Pharmaceutical packaging machines for a wide range of products

JYGA designs equipment for cartoning, case packing, palletising and robotic loading of pharmaceutical products. Solutions are defined according to the products to be handled, formats, throughput and end-of-line organisation. This approach allows the machine to reflect the actual operating conditions of the site, whether the project concerns one specific station or several successive operations.

JYGA machines can be engineered for products including blisters, vials, spray bottles, syrup bottles, pouches, stick packs, ampoules, pill bottles, tubes and flexible pouches. Depending on the application, cartoning can be side-load or top-load, case packing can use wrap-around or RSC cases, and palletising can be single-line, multi-line or collaborative.

Complementary functions integrated into pharmaceutical packaging lines

In addition to cartoning, case packing and palletising, JYGA can integrate complementary functions directly into a machine or complete end-of-line system. Depending on requirements, these may include leaflet insertion, labelling or marking, vision inspection, weighing, and DPM or Datamatrix marking on cartons. These functions help create a pharmaceutical packaging line aligned with product requirements and traceability needs.

This integration approach also reduces unnecessary interfaces between equipment and helps organise end-of-line product flows. It is particularly useful where several operations must be combined within the same cell, with format changeovers, in-process inspections or communication with equipment already installed on the line.

Equipment designed for day-to-day operation in pharmaceutical environments

In pharmaceutical production, end-of-line performance also depends on day-to-day operation. Batch changeovers, workstation access, production monitoring, alarm review and maintenance directly affect continuity of production. JYGA incorporates these requirements from the design stage to make the line easier to operate for production and maintenance teams.

JYGA HMIs can be used to manage formats, view production status, counters, alarms, maintenance parameters and selected monitoring data. This approach supports efficient machine operation while taking account of access, ergonomics and integration constraints on an existing or modernised pharmaceutical packaging line.
