Case Packing and Palletizing for Cartons
JYGA deployed a combined RSC carton case packer and Pal’it Air collaborative palletizer for a global cosmetics group. Cream cartons arrive lying flat and are stacked in rows of 6 or 8 to create batches of 36 or 48 before being automatically loaded into cases. Once filled, the cases are closed, labelled, inspected (code reading and weighing) and conveyed to the cobot, which places them on pallets. The multi-format cell handles 4 product references and reaches up to 170 cartons/min and 3 to 5 cases/min while improving traceability, productivity and ergonomics.

Packaging cosmetic products
Flexibility and lead times are two essential factors in the cosmetics sector and are central to the design of our packaging machines. Product launches are frequent, packaging evolves rapidly and production runs may be relatively small. JYGA develops flexible, scalable cosmetics packaging machinery to meet these challenges. Equipment can also integrate cosmetics labelling, anti-counterfeiting and traceability solutions, as well as inspection systems.
Why choose JYGA for your cosmetics packaging lines?
Our understanding of cosmetics-sector requirements enables JYGA to provide highly flexible and modular end-of-line solutions. We integrate modern, high-performance technologies into cosmetics packaging machinery to provide production flexibility and help manufacturers reduce time to market.
Many cosmetics manufacturers have already entrusted JYGA with the design of their end-of-line packaging systems. Our teams have extensive experience in this sector and develop technical solutions capable of handling a wide range of products, including bottles, cups, pots and cartons.
With JYGA, your cosmetics end-of-line packaging systems are managed with rigour throughout the project. Human relationships are an important part of building trust, and our teams communicate transparently from pre-sales support through to equipment installation. Regular exchanges provide agility, support rapid decision-making and allow the project to adapt when required. Our workshop of more than 2,000 m² is organised to support equipment manufacture and can be visited during the project to review progress.
Our combination of technically advanced equipment, rigorous project management and strong working relationships makes JYGA a reliable partner for cosmetics manufacturers.
Fragrance packaging: cartoning, case packing and palletising
For fragrance packaging, JYGA addresses the specific requirements associated with these products. Fragrance bottles often use highly creative shapes and new products are launched frequently. Handling glass perfume bottles also requires a high level of care and safety.
To meet these requirements, JYGA develops increasingly flexible solutions for handling different containers. Our machines also protect operators through reliable safety systems.
JYGA can automate the entire fragrance end-of-line packaging process. From cartoning and case packing through to robotic palletising, JYGA machines are compact and ergonomic. Their small footprint helps them integrate efficiently into cosmetics packaging lines.
Body care and hair care packaging: cartoning, case packing and palletising
Body care and hair care products use a particularly wide variety of containers, shapes and volumes.
JYGA body care packaging machines flexibly handle pots, bottles, tubes and cartons. Our solutions are scalable and adapt to different product formats using automatic format-change systems integrated into the equipment.
JYGA provides solutions for body care cartoning using top-load or side-load cartoners, body care case packing using cosmetics wrap-around case packers, top-load RSC case packers or mixed case packers, and robotic palletising of body care cases using single-line palletisers, multi-line palletisers or collaborative robots. Our machines are designed for the throughput and production-volume requirements associated particularly with hair care products.
Beauty product packaging: cartoning, case packing and palletising
Beauty-product packaging is changing rapidly, and the move towards more sustainable packaging creates new challenges for cosmetics manufacturers. JYGA adapts its equipment to new formats and more environmentally responsible materials. Our machines can handle a wide range of natural-cosmetics and cosmeceutical formats. Our expertise in cosmetics packaging lines enables us to support cartoning, wrap-around case packing, top-load RSC case packing and palletising projects. JYGA can supply standalone equipment or complete end-of-line systems. Our machines handle beauty products in accordance with hygiene requirements, and gripping solutions are engineered to handle containers gently.
Cosmetics and personal care packaging: innovation for the beauty industry
The beauty and personal care industry continues to evolve in response to changing consumer expectations. Packaging for cosmetics and personal care products is a central part of this transformation and a key factor in brand presentation and product protection.
Innovative containers for beauty and personal care products
Containers play a major role in the appeal and usability of beauty and personal care products. From solid shampoo formats and recycled-cardboard tubes to compressed deodorants, packaging options continue to diversify. These innovations respond to environmental concerns while also improving the user experience.
Plastic, aluminium, laminate and cardboard tubes are good examples. These versatile materials help protect products while offering a wide range of formats suited to different applications. Plastic and glass vials or samples also provide a premium presentation for fragrance and lotion samples.
Optimising the packaging line
High-volume production of cosmetics and personal care products requires an efficient packaging line. One example is a skin-care cream manufacturer that wanted to optimise its case packing process.
To address this requirement, JYGA recommended a dedicated carton case packer. The automatic machine was designed for packing cream cartons. Cartons arrive on a conveyor and are grouped in batches of three, while a code-reading system checks the process.
Cases are pre-formed to suit the cartons. Once ready, the cartons are loaded by a robot fitted with gripper tools. The cases are then closed and prepared for dispatch. A label is applied immediately before discharge, completing the packaging process.
The strength of the cosmetics and personal care industry
The beauty and personal care industry is driven by continuous innovation. From more sustainable packaging to advanced automated packaging processes, brands are constantly looking for ways to differentiate themselves in a highly competitive market.
