Our machine solutions
Food & beverage packaging machinery
JYGA offers food and beverage packaging machinery for cartoning, case packing, palletising and automated handling projects. From standalone equipment to complete lines, JYGA machines are robust and designed for food-industry environments including cheese, dairy, prepared meals, biscuit production, baby food, pet food, processed meat and meat.
Dairy packaging: case packers and cartoners
For dairy product packaging, JYGA supplies automatic case packers, wrap-around case packers and cartoners.
Wrap-around case packers and cartoners
A specialist in wrap-around case packing since 1992, JYGA has developed extensive expertise in grouping products within full or partial secondary packaging. JYGA wrap-around case packers and cartoners pack dairy products using flat cardboard blanks, including product loading and pack closing within the same equipment.
JYGA case packers are compact and optimised for integration into dairy production areas. Their ergonomic design combines a small footprint with excellent accessibility and straightforward operation.
Automatic case packers for pre-formed cases
JYGA also designs top-load case packers for dairy plants, loading products into pre-formed cases. The machine receives the formed cases and uses an automated loading system to insert the products. A case closer can be integrated directly before the filled case is discharged.
JYGA automatic case packers can be installed downstream of an existing case former or supplied with an integrated case former.
Dairy packaging: cartoning and sleeving
For cartoning, sleeving and top-band application, JYGA develops dedicated overwrapping equipment for dairy products such as yoghurt and butter. These machines can provide:
- Sleeve application: wrapping or grouping one or more products using a pre-glued cardboard sleeve.
- Top-band application: grouping products, typically pots, using a cardboard band applied from above.
JYGA machines use high-capacity magazines for sleeve or top-band blanks. These magazines provide long production autonomy without stopping the machine for frequent reloading.
Format changeovers are automatic and the equipment is controlled through an ergonomic, user-friendly HMI.
These solutions are customised and scalable, allowing them to adapt as throughput requirements evolve.
Dairy packaging: robotic palletisers
JYGA palletising cells meet the requirements of dairy product palletising. Robotic palletisers use end-of-arm tools suited to each product and can handle closed cases, open trays, yoghurt pots, and products grouped with top bands or sleeves.
Designed by JYGA, these end-of-arm tools provide reliable product pick-up and placement. Pallet patterns are managed directly from the HMI using JY’TOOL. The software optimises product arrangement on the pallet and transfers the required robot trajectories automatically.
Example: palletising yoghurt pots
Dairy packaging requires precision and efficiency to maintain the quality of finished products. JYGA robotic palletisers provide a reliable response to these requirements. The following application illustrates the benefits achieved for a dairy manufacturer.
The company and the project
The customer specialises in dairy processing and needed to automate the palletising process for batches of yoghurt pots in three different formats. JYGA’s task was to identify the most suitable solution while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Solution and results
Following a detailed assessment, JYGA recommended an automatic single-line robotic palletiser, selected for its suitability to the application and available space.
The palletising cell incorporated a 4-axis palletising robot with a vacuum plate end-of-arm tool, a tilting layer-pad magazine, an integrated marking system for precise batch tracking, a row-preparation conveyor for product organisation, and a conveyorised palletising station to maintain continuous flow.
The robotic palletising solution delivered significant improvements in productivity and efficiency. All three yoghurt-pot formats were handled smoothly, reducing downtime and handling errors. The integrated marking system also provided optimum traceability, strengthening product quality and batch security.
This application demonstrates how dairy packaging machinery can address the sector’s requirements. Productivity, quality and traceability benefits make automated solutions particularly valuable for manufacturers looking to optimise dairy packaging operations.

Complete dairy packaging lines
For a complete end-of-line revamp, JYGA can support dairy manufacturers from sleeving through to palletising. JYGA manages the entire end-of-line system and applies its expertise to product flows and communication between equipment.
Working with trusted partners, JYGA can also integrate equipment for labelling, inspection and weighing.
Made in France dairy packaging machines
JYGA dairy packaging machines are designed and assembled in western France in a workshop of more than 1,000 m². The company works with French and local suppliers that share the same human and environmental values.
JYGA machines meet the quality and performance requirements of the dairy industry, delivering reliable and robust end-of-line packaging systems.
