Solution technique
Case Packing for Butter Portions
For this family-owned dairy, JYGA designed a wrap-around case packer dedicated to butter portions. The products are grouped, turned and then placed in layers into shelf-ready cases before the flaps are automatically folded and glued. The multi-format line handles up to four case sizes, with a straightforward changeover in under ten minutes to reduce stoppages and errors. Connected and remotely controllable through a new intuitive HMI, the solution provides real-time monitoring, manages non-conforming cases and increases operator autonomy.

Laïta is a dairy cooperative with six industrial sites in western France. Laïta has always sought to improve and optimise its production resources, and automation forms part of this industrial-development strategy. We completely redesigned our equipment and decided to replace two lines with a single production line featuring automatic case packing. We remain optimistic. There will undoubtedly be new directions for the business, and it is up to us to adapt.
