This application was developed for a French industrial group that is the global leader in the cosmetics industry. The company contacted JYGA for a cream-carton case-packing solution combined with collaborative palletizing.

To meet this requirement, JYGA recommended installing an RSC case packer together with a Pal’It Air palletizer.
The cream cartons arrive lying flat at the cartoner outfeed. A system stacks rows of 6 or 8 cartons to create batches of 36 or 48 cartons.
Once a batch has been formed, it is presented at the case-packing station. After filling, the cases are closed and discharged from the machine. As an option, a labeller applies a label to the long side of each case. The readability of the code is then checked. A weighing conveyor also verifies that the case is correctly filled.
The cases are then conveyed to the collaborative palletizer. The cobot picks the waiting batch of cases and places it on the pallet being built. Once the pallet is complete, an operator can remove it.
