Bag Packaging and Bag Palletising

JYGA has developed a complete range of machines for bag packaging. Our equipment handles paper or plastic bags, single- or multi-layer materials and products containing solids or liquids, whether hot or cold. End-of-line solutions can include wrap-around and RSC case packing, custom cases, box packing and robotic bag palletising.

Do you have a bag packaging project? Whether the bags are plastic or paper and contain liquids, solids, hot or cold products—or are empty—JYGA can provide several solutions for end-of-line bag handling.

JYGA offers case packing systems for the automatic packing of bags, for example individual pet-food bags or bundled bags. Bags are picked by one or more robots or a handling system, individually or in batches, and placed into the case. The case is then closed and transferred towards palletising.

JYGA bag palletisers use mechanical grippers to pick bags by layer and place them onto the pallet. They can also handle pallets and layer pads. The palletiser is equipped with an ergonomic HMI featuring JYTOOL pallet-pattern software, allowing palletising patterns to be configured from the operator panel and launched in production.

Bag Case Packing and Palletising Applications

JYGA regularly develops projects for products packed in bags. For a leading bedding manufacturer, JYGA installed an automated cell for packing duvets in bags into cases. A robot handles and forms the cardboard cases, while the bagged duvets are shaped and inserted. The system can reach up to 12 duvets per minute.

For a French company specialising in flour and seed production, JYGA installed a bag palletising cell to increase production throughput. Flour bags are manually sorted before entering a tipping module, after which the system palletises the bags and returns the completed pallets.

For a national pet-food manufacturer, JYGA supplied a pet-food bag palletiser. Integrated with an existing pallet conveyor, the system transfers bundles onto a roller table. Each pack can be turned if required before the robot picks a complete layer and palletises the bags.
