RSC Case Erectors
JYGA can provide RSC case erectors upstream of the case packing station or integrated into top-load case packing cells. Flat cardboard blanks are formed into cases before products are loaded inside. The end-of-line system is designed to place the required quantity of products in each case and maintain an organised pack pattern. JYGA case packing equipment is designed for safe, ergonomic and efficient operation. Automated case erecting helps optimise production and supports high throughput while accommodating different case and box formats.
Case Handling and Palletising
Once cases or boxes have been filled, they can be transferred towards dispatch and palletised according to the required pallet pattern. JYGA robotic case palletisers can be configured for lower-throughput or large-scale production and handle open trays, tabbed trays, closed wrap-around cases, shelf-ready cases and RSC cases.
Robotic palletisers use end-of-arm tooling adapted to case pick-up and placement, such as vacuum plates or mechanical grippers. Automatic case alignment can be integrated to improve layer quality. Cases can be picked individually or in multiple pick-up, with upstream case stacking where appropriate.
Beyond case palletising, JYGA provides overhead conveying, case loading and unloading, and depalletising solutions for returning products to the line.
RSC Case Erecting and Case Handling: Application Examples
At the end of the line, the case erector and the wider case-handling system are key parts of the production process.
For a French dessert manufacturer, JYGA integrated a closed-case wrap-around case packer on chocolate fondant production lines, improving production efficiency and supporting a range of formats.
The system manages different carton and product formats, places products into the case using a robot, closes the case and transfers it towards palletising.
In the bakery sector, JYGA has also developed automatic case-magazine loading using a robot to detect and position cardboard blanks. This reduces repetitive manual handling and significantly increases loading autonomy.
In deli-meat production, a multi-line robotic palletiser was installed to handle two black-pudding packaging lines. The system manages different case formats from two separate case packing and case forming machines, improving layer alignment and throughput.
RSC case erecting and case handling therefore support higher efficiency, improved output and greater line autonomy across different industries.
What are the advantages of an RSC case erector?
An RSC case erector automates case forming, helping optimise production and increase productivity. It can support high throughput while adapting to a range of case and box formats.
What is the main function of an RSC case erector?
An RSC case erector forms flat cardboard blanks into cases ready for product loading, creating a consistent pack for the next stage of the end-of-line process.
