Wooden Crate Palletising

JYGA applies its end-of-line packaging expertise to robust and flexible solutions for wooden crates. Palletisers are designed around the crate format and load weight, with gripping systems for open or closed crates. Industrial robots or collaborative robots can be used depending on the production environment and operator interaction requirements.

Wine Industry: Optimising Wooden Crate Palletising

JYGA supports wine producers with mechanised end-of-line solutions. The following application illustrates an automated palletising solution for wooden wine crates.

A major wine-industry company needed to improve the efficiency of its production lines and introduce new technology, particularly for palletising wooden crates used to store and transport wine bottles.

JYGA responded with the “Pal’It One”, a compact, modular palletiser designed for automatic wooden-crate palletising. The system receives full crates from the strapping machine, manages empty pallets, palletises the crates and returns completed pallets.

The palletiser includes a layer-pad magazine, a pallet magazine and two floor pallet positions.
The system is scalable and can be extended with pallet conveyors at the outfeed.
Wooden crates are conveyed to the palletiser and handled by a mechanical gripper fitted with an anti-slip system for secure handling.
The palletising process is flexible and can build on one pallet position or two pallet positions arranged on either side of the cell.

Automated palletising can significantly improve wine-production logistics by removing a repetitive and physically demanding task that may contribute to musculoskeletal disorders.

JYGA palletisers provide a technical solution adapted to the specific requirements of wooden crates in the wine industry.
