Glass Cup Packaging
JYGA designs end-of-line solutions for automating glass-cup packaging from case packing through to palletising. Equipment can handle individual or grouped cups, including lidded, labelled, banded or sleeved formats.
Glass requires particular care during transfer, grouping and case loading. Our machines are designed to limit impacts, maintain the correct cup orientation and provide controlled placement into the packaging. Applications include dairy products, savoury foods, desserts, jams, sauces, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.
Glass Cup Case Packers
JYGA case packers automatically load glass cups into different packaging formats, including open or closed wrap-around cases, RSC cases, cardboard trays, PAV-style cases and other custom cases. Depending on the application, cups can be packed individually, by row, in batches or by layer.
The gripping system is defined according to cup shape, weight, stability and infeed presentation. It may use vacuum, mechanical grippers or custom end-of-arm tooling.
For pre-grouped cups, JYGA can provide vacuum-plate systems that pick the complete group before loading it into the case. The line can also integrate inspection, labelling, tray forming, full-case transfer and robotic palletising.
