JYGA designed a compact, modular palletiser for a major company in the wine sector that wanted to improve its production lines.
The compact palletiser had to automatically palletise wooden cases and perform the following functions: receive full cases from the strapping machine, receive empty pallets, palletise the cases and discharge full pallets.
Project & solution
To meet the customer’s palletising requirements, JYGA proposed the Pal’it One compact palletiser. This palletising cell consists of several functional modules: layer-pad magazine, pallet magazine and two floor pallet positions. The palletising cell can be expanded by adding pallet conveyors at the outfeed.
Wooden cases arrive on a conveyor towards the Pal’it One compact palletiser. They are picked by a gripper and placed on a pallet. The gripper is fitted with a mechanical anti-slip system. Palletising can be performed in single mode with one pallet or in dual mode with two pallets on either side of the palletising cell.
