Automatic Multi-Line Palletiser
The automatic multi-line palletiser uses a multi-axis industrial robot to palletise products from two to four identical or different production lines. A central operator interface simplifies control of the multiple lines. This robust robotic palletising solution can handle a broad range of loads while maintaining high throughput, with source specifications of up to 35 cases per minute. Integrated pallet-pattern software allows operators to create, modify and save multiple configurations for production.
The automatic multi-line palletiser is a compact, versatile solution designed to palletise products from two to four production lines using a single multi-axis robot. Products from each line are prepared as individual units, rows or layers on conveyors upstream of the palletiser. The robot then handles each line in sequence and places the products on the corresponding pallet. A powered roller conveyor discharges the completed pallet.
The palletiser can be equipped with different end-of-arm tools to meet individual, row or layer palletising requirements:
- Clamp grippers for cases and trays
- Claw grippers for bags, bundles and semi-rigid products
- Vacuum plate grippers
- Sliding-curtain grippers
Some grippers can include a lower-layer squaring module to help keep pallets aligned.
The robotic multi-line palletising cell can also be fitted with a pallet dispenser and layer pad dispenser.
A stretch wrapper and/or labeller can be integrated at the line outfeed.
Automatic multi-line palletiser options
Depending on the application, the multi-line palletiser can be fitted with a collaborative robot. The palletising function remains the same, with the safety concept adapted to the collaborative configuration.
JY’TOOL pallet pattern software
The multi-line palletiser can also be equipped with JY’TOOL pallet pattern software. Operators can create and modify pallet patterns in just a few minutes, including interlocked or column-stacked layouts. Multiple configurations can be saved from the HMI and selected for production. Available JY’TOOL functions depend on the pallet pattern and application.
