Company
This application was developed for a company specialising in textiles, particularly bedding products. To strengthen its leading position, the company contacted JYGA to improve the performance of its production lines and case-packing stations. The project involved providing an automatic solution for packing duvets into cases.
Project & solution
To meet this requirement, JYGA recommended installing an RSC case-packing cell. Duvets arrive from two lines at a maximum throughput of 12 duvets/min.
At the same time, a robot picks stacks of cardboard and opens each blank to form a case. The case moves along a conveyor, where forming continues on one side before the case is presented in front of the duvets.
The duvets are shaped before being loaded into the pre-formed case. At the following stations, the case is closed and discharged.
