This application was developed for a French company specialising in pet-food production. The company asked JYGA to supply an automatic unloading and case-packing system for pet-food stand-up pouches.
Project & solution
To meet this requirement, JYGA recommended the installation of three machines: a stand-up-pouch unloading system, a tray former and a PAV-style case packer with lid.
The tray former forms the PAV-style cases, which are then distributed to the lanes feeding the case-packing modules.
At the case-packing station, the stand-up pouches are stacked to form a batch. The batch is then presented in front of the tilted cases.
A lid is placed on the full cases. Once the lid has been glued, the full closed cases are discharged in line onto a marking conveyor and then onto a gravity conveyor for manual collection.
